Residence permit in Latvia document submission for person who has made financial investments in a credit institution

What documents must be submitted, if person want to get a residence permit in Latvia as a person who has made financial investments in a credit institution of the Republic of Latvia and the investment amount is not less than 200,000 Lats in the form of subordinated capital (subordinated loan or subordinated bonds) of the credit institution and maturity of the transaction is not less than five years, and the deposit agreement cannot be terminated prior to its maturity date:

Person shall present a valid travel document admitted in the Republic of Latvia and submit the following documents:

*)a definite sample form for a residence permit request;

*)a photography;

*)a document confirming the necessary subsistence;

*)a document confirming the envisaged place of residence in the Republic of Latvia;

*)a document issued by a credit institution of the Republic of Latvia certifying that the foreigner has made financial investments in the credit institution of the Republic of Latvia and the investment amount is not less than 200,000 Lats in the form of subordinated capital (subordinated loan or subordinated bonds) of the credit institution and maturity of the transaction is not less than five years, and the deposit agreement cannot be terminated prior to its maturity date. If the financial investment is made in a foreign currency, the credit institution shall certify that the amount of the investment, as to the Contract Date, was at least equivalent to 200,000 Lats translated into Latvian Lats at Bank of Latvia exchange rates for the Contract Date;

*)a document confirming the state duty payment.
